Venture Academy

The Venture Academy will take place on Monday 11 December at the Düsseldorf Congress Sport & Event - CCD Stadthalle.

The Venture Academy will host coaching sessions aiming to help SMEs that had been selected to present at the European Venture Contest Final. Experienced coaches from the relevant industry areas will work very pragmatically with the presenters to prepare them for their participation on the following day.

Participation in the Venture Academy is free of charge. Nevertheless, it is exclusive for the companies selected to present at the European Venture Contest Final on 12 December.  Spaces are limited, so we suggest presenting companies to respond as soon as they have received the confirmation of selection.

Why participate in the  Venture Academy?

• Guidance on how to meet strategic partners and potential investors’ expectations;
• Participants receive feedback on their presentations and propositions compared with those of other participants;
• Highlighting the strengths and weaknesses which needed to be addressed and improved.

Who participates in the Venture Academy?

• Selected innovative companies with one or maximum two senior management representatives;
• External coaches with relevant expertise and experience, who reviewed the companies from a shareholder perspective;
• Facilitated by 2 to 3 moderators;

Who are the coaches?

• Independent Coaches: consultants able to personally provide advisory services;
• Venture capital managers;
• Advisors.
