ENRICH is a global network of centres and hubs that promotes the internationalisation of European science, technology and innovation (STI). Promoted by the European Commission through Horizon 2020, the ENRICH network currently offers services to connect European research, technology and business organisations with three global frontrunner innovation markets: China, Brazil and the USA.

CSTEC was founded in 1982 upon the approval of the State Council. CSTEC is a legally independent organisation affiliated to the MOST of the People’s Republic of China. With expertise in international S&T exchanges, its mandate is to promote interactions between the research and industrial communities in China and their foreign counterparts so as to serve the socio-economic development and enhance the friendly relations between China and countries across the globe. CSTEC has successively established cooperative ties with over 130 organisations and renowned enterprises in more than 30 countries and regions. Thus it has set up a network for collaboration with counterparts from America, Oceania, Europe, Africa, Asia, and in particular the European Union, Japan, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. It continues to play a significant role in facilitating international S&T cooperation and exchanges, the reform and opening-up of China, as well as the construction of the socialist economy.

Founded in 1998, Tech Tour provides a Community facilitating investment into world-class entrepreneurs with event and online matching platforms between growing and emerging innovative companies and investors across borders, regions, sectors, and stages.

EUPIC is an independent organization established in Chengdu in 2006 under the Asia Invest Project, the European Union initiative aiming to promote and support business cooperation between the EU and Asia. EUPIC is supported by the European Commission, the Torch Centre (affiliated government agency to the Ministry of Science and Technology of China), the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, the Chengdu Municipal People’s Government and the Management Committee of Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone. Overall, EUPIC is a comprehensive platform that helps to promote innovation, trade, investment and technical cooperation between the EU and China. EUPIC has also been the coordinator of the EU-initiated Enterprise Europe Network (“EEN”) for West China since 2011 and the coordinator of EEN North & West China since 2014.

Approved by Hubei Provincial People's Government, Hubei International Science and Technology Exchange Center is in charge of international science and technology exchanges. The Center is also approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology as Hubei International Technology Transfer Center. The aim is to strengthen the communication between scientists, entrepreneurs, engineers, and management personnel in Hubei with their counterparts in other countries and regions through a wide range forms of activities. Thus science and technology communication and exchanges are promoted and economic development is enhanced. Hubei International Science and Technology Exchange Center is Hubei's first national technology transfer agency targeting the entire world.

Institute of New Energy, Wuhan Co., Ltd. (INEW) was set up in July 2016 by Wuhan Municipal People's Government and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). INEW is mainly committed to new energy technology R&D, project incubation and industrial investment and is determined to protect human sustainable development through the development and utilization of new energy.

The main responsibilities of Hubei Provincial Department of Science and Technology are to conduct research on policies and regulations in scientific and technological development strategic plan, to formulate mid-term and long-term plans for scientific and technological development, and to facilitate the establishment of scientific and technological innovative and service systems in Hubei. The Department also supervises the establishment of provincial scientific and technological infrastructure and platform, promotes development of hi-tech industries, and is responsible for international scientific and technological cooperation and in Hubei.
